Ah the wonderful world of search engine optimization and search engine marketing. I may write all day and night about it (and sometimes I do!).
However the world of SEO and SEM will be confusing (that’s a real understatement!) particularly if you are somewhat new to the industry. Everyone and their brother assume they understand what the secret is to obtaining a top search engine ranking and every one the free, highly targeted traffic that comes with it.
But the truth is, very few folks extremely understand – and the ones that do know, don’t *extremely* know. Solely the search engines themselves really grasp, the rest of us just trial and error figure it out and piece things together that *principally* work today.
