Here’s how you do it:

Step 1. Become an affiliate with a product you have experience with.

Step 2. Research the keywords.  You want to find keywords that have at least 1,000 searches and less than 20,000 competing pages.

Step 3. Develop a Squidoo page on your product’s topic, including the keyword phrase in every title on the page.  Include your affiliate links in the key places.

Step 4. Choose specific keywords (as above) to include in your articles.

Step 5. Write 10 different articles providing valuable content with your link to your squidoo page in the resource box.  Be sure to include the link as anchor text for your keyword.  Remember: you’re not selling, you’re providing resources.

Step 6. Submit these 10 articles to 10 different article directories.  That gives you 100 articles out there linking back to your Squdioo Page.

Step 7. Create a link wheel to your Squidoo page using multiple Web 2.0 websites (at least 5 or 6).

Rinse and Repeat.
