The word niche rhymes with the word quiche (it’s French) and means (in marketing terms) a specialized market, it also means a little hole in the wall and statue sits inside.
You could call unicycle riders a broad market, but a niche would be “clowns riding unicycles.” You want to drill down to that targeted group of people that maybe buy tires for unicycles, buy seats, buy unicycles, maybe take unicycle lessons.

So you find a niche with a problem and you connect with them through article marketing and select keywords (ones that they use to find the things they’re looking for online).
